Terms Conditions

1. TOUR PACKAGE AND TOUR BOOKINGS

All bookings must be made in advance. We strongly recommend booking at least 30 days before the arrival date to ensure availability and allow us to make all necessary arrangements, including transportation and other services included in your package. Availability is subject to the season and selected tour.

Bookings are only accepted through our official website or verified travel channels.To secure your booking, a 50% deposit of the total amount per person is required, along with the traveler's details. Payments must be made through our authorized payment platform. The remaining 50% must be paid upon arrival in Cusco, either in cash or by credit card.

Once the first payment is received, our Reservations Department will send a confirmation email. This document serves as formal proof of your booking. We recommend carefully reviewing all details upon receiving this confirmation.

To finalize your booking, you must provide the following information for each traveler:

  • Full name (as it appears on the passport)
  • Passport number
  • Nationality
  • Age and gender
  • Any allergies, medical conditions, or dietary restrictions

Our company reserves the right to accept last-minute bookings (within 48 hours before arrival). In such cases, specific booking conditions, including possible schedule modifications, will be communicated via email and must be mutually accepted.

It is the client's responsibility to provide accurate arrival and departure details in advance.

2. BOOKING PROCESS

  • Full name (as it appears on the passport)
  • Copy or photo of the passport
  • Passport number
  • Date of birth
  • Contact number

3. PRICING POLICY

All rates are quoted in U.S. dollars (USD) and are subject to change without prior notice. Prices are final and per person.

4. CANCELLATION POLICY

If a client requests a cancellation, the refund amount will depend on how far in advance the request is made. AS PERU TOURS & ADVENTURE will offer alternative solutions when possible, but if the client does not accept them, refunds will be issued according to the following conditions:

FOR TOUR PACKAGES

  • More than 120 days before departure: 100% refund (excluding transfer fees or other applicable charges).
  • 90-119 days before departure: 100% refund, minus the cost of Machu Picchu and train tickets already purchased, and transfer fees.
  • 60-89 days before departure: 50% refund, minus the cost of Machu Picchu and train tickets already purchased, and transfer fees.
  • Less than 40 days before departure: No refund available.

FOR MACHU PICCHU TOURS

  • More than 120 days before departure: 100% refund, minus the cost of Machu Picchu and train tickets already purchased, and transfer fees.
  • 90-119 days before departure: 60% refund, minus the cost of Machu Picchu and train tickets already purchased, and transfer fees.
  • Less than 30 days before departure: No refund available.

FOR ONE-DAY TOURS (EXCLUDING MACHU PICCHU)

  • More than 10 days before departure: 80% refund, excluding transfer fees.
  • Less than 7 days before departure: No refund available.

Refunds will only be processed through PayPal.

5. REFUND AND RESCHEDULING POLICIES

  • If a client fails to show up on the agreed date and time, the tour will be considered a NO-SHOW, and no refund will be issued.
  • Costs associated with unused services (e.g., train tickets, Machu Picchu entrance fees, guided tours) are non-refundable.
  • Once purchased, Machu Picchu entrance tickets and train tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, according to Peruvian government regulations.

If a client requests a rescheduling more than 45 days before the tour, the following applies:

  • Machu Picchu entrance tickets are non-refundable and non-modifiable (new tickets must be purchased).
  • If transportation providers allow rescheduling without fare differences, the change will be processed at no additional cost.
  • If external suppliers impose rescheduling fees, these will be covered by the client.Refunds may take 1 to 4 weeks to process.

6. FORCE MAJEURE AND UNFORESEEN EVENTSAS PERU TOURS & ADVENTURE will make every effort to minimize the impact of unforeseen events but is not responsible for additional costs arising from circumstances beyond our control, including:

  • Political instability
  • Adverse weather conditions
  • Roadblocks and strikes
  • Natural disasters
  • Interruptions in railway services between Aguas Calientes, Ollantaytambo, and Cusco

Clients are advised to purchase travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.

7. IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Clients must follow all instructions provided by guides. If a client decides to separate from the group, AS PERU TOURS & ADVENTURE is not responsible for their safety.

  • We reserve the right to modify or substitute any part of the itinerary when necessary.
  • Clients are responsible for their luggage and personal belongings.
  • No refunds will be issued for unused services, including meals, transportation, or guided tours.
  • If a client arrives late or fails to show up, no refunds or compensation will be provided.
